Very Nice & Friendly PpL.. The Food, the Pork LoMein that I ordered In particular Was Delicious & the Lunch Portion was Great! However.., I found there pork fried rice to be a LiL on the bland & dry side for My liking, It almost seemed like the Cook messed Up & gave Me brown Rice W/pork instead Idk? I will Definitely be back to Try other dishes & to see if the pork fried rice is the same, In which case I'LL continue to Order there main course Dishes just Not the Rice : )

Good place to go and sit down and eat some good Chinese food..

This was the second time in a few weeks I ordered from here Many years ago I ate here ,the food was not so good .now WOW!! A friend recommended this place and I’m so happy now that I have found an excellent place for Chinese food . The sweet and sour pork was great , deep fried tender pork in a Tempura batter , w/ separate sauce, I’ll be back thanks

Under new management. Not as good as it used to be. I used to love their food. Last time i got food from here the flavors were off and the crispy sesame beef was not crispy. It was soggy. Need to find a new place.. So disappointed..

This place is a hidden Gem ,lived in Patchogue for a while now and from what I've heard the service has been consistent . I wish I would have ordered from them years ago food is delicious

My family has been going to this restaurant since it opened and it is the best place to eat Chinese food in the area. The portions are very nicely sized and fill the containers. My favorite plate is tied between their sesame chicken or pork egg foo young. The sauces are great and the boneless spare ribs are delicious. Employees are pretty cool, restaurant is pretty clean and parking is usually available.

Exceptional and yummy food, I love the character the spot has, and the cashiers were super nice. I will surely visit here again.

Being an american Chinese place I was pleasantly surprised how good everything. I sat in the dine in section which has a bit of a different menu and meals courses out. Really comfortable atmosphere

Great, consistent, friendly, inexpensive and any other superlative. Was a twice a week pleasure until I moved out of state. I was spoiled. I have not found anything close to the quality or price in KS or MO ;-(

Ordered from here seeing that there were many great reviews and ratings. However, very bad experience. Ordered from a delivery service, got our food and were very surprised at the amount of food we got for so cheap! The restaurant messed up our order. Forgot to give us an item or two. Started to eat, very very very bland. Chicken was flavorless and tough. Pork was flavorless. Even the sauces they provided weren’t all that great. We ended up throwing away most of the food because we disliked it that much. Very sad situation and won’t be eating there again!!

Although I've lived close by this amazing restaurant most my life this is the first time I stopped in for food. I really want to slap myself for not eating here 35years ago😢😢😢😢. SMDH

How may kitchen is the only place to get quality ingredients and food that is delicious. How may has an extensive range of food at a price that can't be beaten. Come in for pick up or stay for excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. One taste of anything on the menu and you'll see why this is a favorite spot of mine. Enjoy!

Chicken wings were too big.did not enjoy them

I am wondering if there is a new owner at How May, because I have never had an issue before. Placing my order via phone was a little difficult given the language barrier and that was something I have not encountered at this take out location before. I have always ordered plain lo mein instead of white rice with my meal and paid a little extra, but I was not allowed to do that this time. I ordered at 5:54 and was told 10 minutes, I arrived at 6:15, paid and waited another 10 minutes. I checked the order, it was incorrect, another first for How May. Waited another 10 minutes for the correct order and when I asked about the “free soda” that comes with the order, I was told I could only get a can. Considering to get a bottle you have to spend “$35.00” and I only spent $33.47, guess my 20 minute wait is not worth $1.53 to the establishment. If there isn’t a new owner I will be in total shock!

They didnt give me a spoon with my Soup. Wonton soup crackers were kinja stale. Otherwise, the food is Great there!!!

Perhaps Paula Trapasso can explain to us all how she's been going to this restaurant for "50 years" when they opened in the mid 90's? Sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee to me. Either way, her "review" is a load of BS.Anyway. Food is awesome, cooked fast and fresh, prices are right. Place is clean, decent sized dining area. Staff is friendly & courteous. Not really much more you can ask for from a take out Chinese food place. There's a ton of Chinese places around this area, but go out of your way for this place. It's worth it. I highly recommend it.

Haven't been here in about 10 years....couldn't get any good chinese food where I live so decided to for me and the wife to try this good old place I used to go to. Let me tell you the place was really good back then and has stayed the same and did not disappoint. Believe it or not the noodles they serve before the meal actually got better....lol...we will definately be back more ofter.

Pork fried rice is my go to. The wing could be crisper I like the skin to be crunchy. Over all though good food.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I just ordered the sesame noodles and I found a BUG cooked into the peanut butter. Also they got most of our order wrong. DO NOT EAT HERE. what I did eat of it was not very good at all anyway.

Food always fresh and hot love the place

Decided to get take out for myself on 2/9/18. Kept it simple with a large beef and broccoli. The food tasted good but I was shocked by the price. $14.65 for a large beef and broccoli...give me a break, plus it was all broccoli, very little beef.

Rude staff. Denied offer for free can of soda after 15.00 purchas. While paying for food. Order was 30.15 before tax. Called to figure out what happened. Asked why we didnt receive free soda she said no it isn't 15.00. Told her it was double of required amount. She then argued about price again Which made no sense and hung up on me. Poor attitude. Simply apologizing would have been nice. This was over a can of soda they lost a customer. Very disappointed with the arrogant attitude. Sad to see I wasnt worth the apology or 50 cent can of soda.

My family has been going to How May for over 40 years. Best wonton soup, best eggrolls, best service in ALL of Long Island!
